Macular Pucker
Macular
pucker is when a "surface wrinkling retinopathy," or a wrinkling of the macula, occurs. This is often idiopathic in nature (from an unknown cause). Macular pucker also may be secondary to other retinal conditions. It is often treatable, depending upon the underlying condition and the overall status of the patient.
